Information for Schools and Organizations
Each NextGen Awards Contestant MUST designate a local
school or organization as their
contest advisor in their entry form. If the contestant becomes a NextGen winner, their advisory
school or organization will also receive cash awards and international recognition.
NextGen welcomes active involvement and support from a wide diversity of schools, NGO's and community organizations around the world.
The following are some of the ways YOU, your schools, or organizations can
help realize the exciting and substantive impact of NextGen:
- If you know talented and caring young people in your community, school or organization (between ages 13-20), encourage them to enter the NextGen Awards Contest.
- Publicize the NextGen Awards® Contest in your school or organization.
- Showcase local NextGen Awards® contestants and their innovative ideas.
- Become a NextGen mentor to help NextGen winners
expand on their ideas and personal potential. (Click here
for Mentors Corner.)
- Dedicate bulletin boards, web pages, and links for youth oriented educational
information featuring quality of life challenges and examples of how mobile phones
and people can make a difference.
If you would like to help with outreach or expanding NextGen contests to other countries, please contact us at outreach@NextGenawards.org.
