Who Can Enter the NextGen Awards And Mentors Contest?
Any girl or boy living in a participating country between the ages of 13-20 at time of contest entry deadline may enter.
You can enter as an individual or as a team, (all of whom must be within age limits
at the time of contest entry deadline).

 What mobile technologies qualify?
Any mobile phone technology or application is eligible for consideration
(from the simplest basic voice or SMS text messaging to the most futuristic 3G
multi-media high-speed internet web linked interactive capabilities, software and devices you can imagine)

Who qualifies as your Contest Entry Advisor?
You can pick a parent, legal guardian, or any recognized local school or community organization near you as a
NextGen Awards Contest Advisor.
The advisor, over the age of 21, must be willing to be a point of contact for the purposes of
your NextGen contest entry.
If you (or your team) are selected as a NextGen Awards
finalist in your country, your designated Contest Advisor will be contacted as part of
the verification of your age, place of residence, and other information submitted
in your entry required for winner eligibility. The Contest Advisor School or Organization
is not required to take on other responsibilities. However, if you are a
NextGen winner, the local school or organization you
designated will also receive a cash prize and honored on the NextGenAwards websites
How do I find a local Contest Entry Advisor?
In addition to your parent or legal guardian, any school or organization can qualify as
an advisor. Ask a teacher, administrator, or employee of
a local school or organization for help. For NextGen Awards Contest

How can I enter NextGen Awards Contest?
You can submit your entry via
www.NextGenAwards.org/form/ in
English or in dominant language on official participating country
NextGen website. (The inaugural
NextGen Awards pilot is open now! Deadline for entries is October 15,
2007. Official contest entries must be submitted through this website in English
or through www.NextGenAwards.vn in Vietnamese.
How Are NextGen Award Countries Selected?
NextGen Awards and Mentors Contest countries are
selected based on local country community and corporate support capabilities and
proposals. NextGen will expand to other countries and
regions in 2007 and 2008. If you live in a country other than Vietnam and are interested
in having or helping organize the NextGen AWARDS CONTEST AND
MENTORS Program in your country, please contact
outreach@NextGenAwards.org.
How will NextGen Awards Entries be judged?
Contest entries will initially be scored and judged in competition with other entries
by age group (13-16 or 17-20) and principal Quality of life categories: (1) health, (2)
education, (3) environment designated by contestant.
Do I have a chance to win?
Yes. Unlike many contests that only have a few prize winners,
NextGen has many. You do not have to have your own
mobile phone or be a techie to be a winner. Your ideas and projects can involve the
simplest text messaging or phone call to the most advanced multi-media, internet
mobile services. You will be judged against others in your own age group (13-16 and 17-20).
